I was born in 1986, in Michoacán, Mexico and came to LA at the age of seven. I have lived in Los Angeles since then, and—to say the least—I have seen a lot. My life, society, and culture have given me much to think about, but I am able to express only a small amount of it with words. I prefer to express myself through my artwork. My goal is to be a renowned artist some day, show my work around the work and never be forgotten. I like to work with different mediums. I love to combine them in all one piece to express my emotions. Most of my work is based on my life in Los Angeles and Mexico. With a brush in my hand and a canvas in front of me; I have the power to express myself in any form. Having the finished artwork hanging on a wall, seeing the reactions of people, and hearing their criticism, positive and negative, has made me stronger as an artist.
En Los Angeles has different images of LA’s history and images of the Latin world today.
