May 3 – July 27, 2012 at the Vincent Price Art Museum
I create images of intense emotion, cataclysmic disasters, life-changing events, secret worlds. Moments when the universe opens up, the bottom drops out, the walls fall down. And out of that catharsis, transcendence, maybe even beauty is born. “Landfalls” is a series of ink drawings and sculptures that attempt to convey my experiences of the city of Los Angeles: broken, epic, at times a difficult place to call
home yet always interesting.
